IDW100 Legacy Projects
The legacy of Idaho Women 100 will live on through the creation of legacy projects that will celebrate Idaho as a leader in the national suffrage movement and women’s leadership today. Idaho Women 100 will achieve these goals through the collective impact of organizations across Idaho.
Idaho Women in Leadership
In 2020, America will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of woman suffrage, and Idaho will celebrate 124 years of suffrage. Idaho was the 4th state to grant most women in Idaho with the right to vote in 1896. Idaho Women in Leadership, in partnership with Idaho Public Television, will celebrate the 2020 centennial with a documentary called, “Ahead of Her Time; Woman Suffrage in Idaho.” It will air throughout the state on public television and during statewide celebrations. This documentary will teach us about our history in the suffrage movement, explore its impact on our state today, and honor the female leaders – the path-breakers – of our past and present. We invite you to be a part of Idaho history and SUPPORT the crowdfunding campaign for this important documentary.
